One comparable quotation brief

Micro sprinkler irrigation sourcing services

01

Convert field notes into a supplier request

Describe the crop, planted area, row spacing and intended watering zone before selecting heads. Record water source and quality, design flow and operating pressure, using gpm or m3/h and psi or bar consistently. Identify where pressure was measured and whether the pump was operating. A static pressure reading cannot describe losses along a running lateral.

02

Keep factory alternatives visible

Supplier matching starts with the written product scope. Ask prospective factories to return model identification, materials, nozzle options, connection dimensions and discharge data. A proposed substitute stays on its own quotation line until the buyer or irrigation designer accepts it. Missing filtration requirements, tubing tolerances or control interfaces become open questions rather than assumed equivalence.

03

Compare the complete purchase

Separate the head price from stakes, microtube, fittings, filters, regulators, packing and spare rotors. Request MOQ, quantity breaks, sample cost, currency and quoted unit basis. Freight, taxes, inspection and sourcing support belong in a consistent total-cost comparison. Optional budget information helps identify feasible choices; premium, mid-range and budget-friendly are your preferences, not supplier quality grades.

04

Agree the acceptance and delivery steps

A sample review can check connection fit, assembly completeness and discharge at the stated test pressure. Record the method, instrument reading, sample identification and observed pattern before approving a production reference. Confirm who performs testing and any related charges. Ask separately for production timing, shipping scope, seasonal delivery needs, warranty exclusions and replacement-part availability. Coordination does not establish a delivery commitment.

Harvest Compass Sourcing acts independently of manufacturers. Engineering design, installation and regulatory acceptance need an agreed responsible party and project-specific evidence. Read the RFQ checklist, browse product inquiries or send unresolved dimensions in your request.

Send the scope you already have

A photograph, crop description or existing model reference can start the discussion. Mark unknown values explicitly so they remain questions in each factory request.
